Super Karang Guni Man is a 2023 short film produced for AMP Singapore that follows the heartwarming friendship between a young girl who loves to draw and a kind-hearted karang guni man she trails during his daily rounds. Touched by their bond, she creates a portrait of him — and their friendship is put to the test when he bravely intervenes to save her from an abusive father, though he is left questioning his actions as she is subsequently placed in a children’s home. Years later, a chance encounter with a neighbour’s grandchild reveals that the girl has grown up and turned her experience into a children’s book — with the illustration she once drew of him now gracing its cover, immortalising him as her hero, the Super Karang Guni Man.

ADIL & aLIVE are two 2023 social media videos that showcase how both children and adults can deepen their understanding of Islam through structured, engaging learning environments. The first video follows Sahara as she spends a day participating in a children’s class at aLIVE, offering viewers a warm and relatable glimpse into how young learners are introduced to religious education in a fun and nurturing setting. The second video follows Hans Hamid as he enrolls in a class on Tauhid at ADIL, highlighting how adult learners can meaningfully explore the foundations of their faith in a similarly structured environment.
